I wanted to foster more meaningful connections among team members, as there was no easy way to get to know the people I shared so much time with every day.
I was unaware of important details such as the holidays they celebrated in their countries, their work anniversaries, their birthdays, or even what role they played in the company. All of this made team connection virtually nonexistent.
Additionally, I felt that recognition and appreciation for a job well done were scarce in the work environment. I wanted to create an environment where achievements were celebrated and efforts were recognized in a meaningful way.
Well-being and balance between work and personal life were aspects I wanted to promote in the work environment. I believed that a happy and healthy team was essential for the company’s success.
These frustrations and desires to improve the work experience led me to create Dear HR, a platform that simplifies vacation, PTO, holiday management, and fosters meaningful connections among team members. With Dear HR, I hope that companies and employees can enjoy a more human, efficient, and connected work culture.
